CARING FOR PEOPLE BY CARING FOR THEIR PETS
WHAT WE DO
Our network of 200+ highly trained volunteers help with the practical elements of looking after pets, so their owners can focus on looking after themselves with the peace of mind that their pet is healthy, happy and by their side when they need them most. In the case of hospitalisation or end-of-life care, our dedicated short-term and long-term fostering service is there to ensure their best friend will always be well looked after, if requested.
Through this, we are helping to preserve the special bond between people and their pets through difficult times, preventing unnecessary hardship and suffering.

THE IMPACT
OF OUR WORK
PEACE OF MIND
As a pet owner, feeling like you're letting your pet down is heartbreaking - and the thought of having to give them up or worrying about what will happen to them if you fall ill or pass away can be very distressing. Through our work, we help to give people peace of mind that their pet will be cared for, no matter what.
ALLOWING PET OWNERS TO STAY OWNERS
When someone is going through cancer treatment, receiving end of life care, or an older person with mobility issues, they can often feel limited and defined by their illness. We provide the support and care to let owners keep being owners, keeping their special friends by their side and giving them one less thing to worry about.
ADDRESSING SOCIAL ISOLATION
For many of our beneficiaries, the interaction they have with our volunteers may be the only human contact they have all week. Having a reliable and regular visitor helps to address this isolation, creating meaningful connections for both the volunteers and beneficiaries.
