🐾 Bark, Set, Go!
Rosie’s Trust launch their brand new doggy race in collaboration with Live Here, Love Here
📅 Saturday 30 August 2026
📍 Loughshore Park, Jordanstown - 11am
Normally we're trying to stop our eager pups from pulling ahead...
…but for one day only, we want them to run like the wind!
Whether your dog is lightning-fast or prefers a gentle trot, Bark, Set, Go! is your chance to enjoy an unforgettable day outdoors while supporting Rosie's Trust.
This is also a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenic coastal paths of Loughshore Park in Jordanstown where you can walk or run alongside your four-legged best friend, while helping us raise vital funds to keep people and their pets together. (state a bit about LHLH’s coastal walk series? Link to more info?)
Think your pooch has what it takes to get a place on the podium?
Why We're Racing
Every day, Rosie's Trust supports people facing illness, disability and crisis by caring for the pets they love.
From dog walking and foster care to transport and practical support, our volunteers help ensure that no one has to face life's challenges without the comfort and companionship of their best friend.
Every entry to Bark, Set, Go! helps us continue this life-changing work.
Race it, Jog it, walk it.
Whether you're an experienced runner, a weekend walker or simply looking for a fun morning out with your dog, Bark, Set, Go! is for you.
Race for a podium finish.
Or enjoy a relaxed jog/walk with family, friends and your canine companion.
However you cross the finish line - you'll be part of something special.

Dog Welfare
We'd love your dog to be part of the day - but their welfare always comes first.
To keep everyone safe and happy, please remember:
Dogs must remain on a lead at all times.
Owners must clean up after their dogs.
Please only bring dogs that are friendly and comfortable around other dogs, people and busy environments.
Only you know your dog best. Please consider whether this event is suitable for their age, fitness, health and temperament.
If your dog becomes overwhelmed or distressed, please put their wellbeing first.
Thank you for helping us create a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
Fundraise for Rosie's Trust
Your entry fee already makes a difference - but why stop there?
Ask friends, family and colleagues to sponsor your challenge and help us support even more vulnerable people and their beloved pets across Northern Ireland.
Together, we can ensure more people never have to choose between their own wellbeing and the companionship of their pet.
