Become a Feline Support volunteer for Rosie’s Trust

If you’re a fan of cats, and live local to Downpatrick, Rosie’s Trust could have the perfect volunteering opportunity for you!

From feeding and playtime to vet visits, Feline Support volunteers are essential to the support services provided by Rosie’s Trust.

Similar to the charity’s Canine Support volunteers, the role ensures that beneficiaries’ pets receive the care, attention and love they need.

By visiting a pet and their owner 1-2 times per week at home, a Feline Support volunteer helps to maintain a happy and stress-free routine for cats whose owners need a helping hand.

Rosie’s Trust supports people undergoing cancer treatment, receiving end of life care, and older people with mobility issues. As well as caring for pets, volunteer visits also provide an opportunity to check in on some of the most vulnerable and isolated people in Northern Ireland, creating meaningful friendships and support networks.
