Merry Christmas from Rosie’s Trust!

Rosie’s Trust cares for people by caring for their pets 365 days a year, thanks to the dedication of over 250 volunteers. However, the office will be closed for non-urgent enquiries from Wednesday 24th December – Monday 5th January.

This festive season, Rosie’s Trust services will be running on Christmas Day – just like every other day of the year!

However, the office will be closed for all non-urgent enquiries from Christmas Eve through to Monday 5th January, 2026.

The staff team will continue to answer questions and queries from the beneficiaries who are supported by the charity, and volunteers will be donating their time over the holidays.

Jayne McStay, Rosie’s Trust Operations Manager, said:

“A special thank-you must go to our volunteers who will be out and about supporting people and their pets over the holidays, including on Christmas Day.

“Over the past year, our 252 volunteers have given 9,986 hours of their time to our charity. We are very grateful for this support, and our work would not be possible without this incredible generosity.

“We are currently supporting 50 people and 63 pets, and any donations over the festive season are particularly welcomed to ensure we can continue to provide our free-of-charge services.”

Any wider enquiries that Rosie’s Trust receives when the office is closed will be answered as soon as possible when the team return to their desks.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy 2026 from the Rosie’s Trust team!

Rosie’s Trust office will close on Wednesday 24th December, and reopen on Monday 5th January.
