Rosie’s Trust at the Lammas Fair 2025 – and it’s International Dog Day!
For the first time, Rosie’s Trust will be setting up a stall at the famous Ould Lammas Fair on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th August.
With over 100,000 visitors to Ballycastle expected over the two days, Rosie’s Trust is looking forward to spending time with supporters, volunteers, the public – and their four-legged friends.
The charity will be marking International Dog Day on Tuesday 26th August by encouraging owners, attending the fair and beyond, to send in snaps of their pooches to share on the Rosie’s Trust website and social media channels.
Rosie’s Trust Development Officer, Laura Quinn, who supports people and their pets in the Northern Trust area, is looking forward to the event:
“The Lammas Fair is going to be a great way for Rosie’s Trust to catchup with friends and supporters, as well as introduce new people to the services we provide in the local area.
“The team and I work closely with our wonderful 200+ volunteers to support cancer patients, older people with mobility issues, and those receiving end of life care to keep their pets at home by their side when they need them the most.
“We know what a life-changing role that pets play in their owners’ lives, so there’s no better time to celebrate and raise awareness than on International Dog Day!”
